Admission to Little Wise Owls Pre-school: for children aged 4 months to 6 years (Grade R) are accepted.
Language: Little Wise Owls is a dual medium pre-school. We provide education in both English and Afrikaans.
School fees: Exact fees will be given on request. You are welcome to contact us regarding the structure. There is a registration fee payable for new enrolments. Yearly discounts is applicable when a full year's payments are made before the end of February. School fees are not refundable.
One calendar month's notice must be given before a child leaves the school. Such notice must be in writing, handed personally to the principal. A full calendar month's fee will apply in lieu of notice. November is NOT a notice month.
Holidays: Little Wise Owls is open during all school holidays, except for a short period between Christmas and New Year (round 15 December to a week or so after New Year). The full fee is payable during this period.
Public Holidays: Our school is closed on public holidays.
Times: Opens at 06h30 and Closes strtictly at 18h00.
- Breakfast is served from 07h45 to 08h15. No breakfast after 08h15.
- Our daily program follows breakfast at 08h30. Please view the activities page to get more information. All children must then be present to benefit from the total educational program.
- The school closes at 18h00, failure to collect your child will result in a fine.

Birthdays: It is a special time in a child's life and Little Wise Owls enjoy celebrating with the kids. Parents are welcome to make arrangements to have a party at school. It is better however to not be too lavish.
Progress reports: Reports are handed twise per annum. These reports are compiled according to the child's level of development. Any specific problems or milestones will however we discussed with parents when it occurs.
Extramural Activities: Our school is open to extra activities presented by specialists on the school grounds. These fees are payable sparate from school fees and activities. More details on the the activities page. The activities include:
- Play Ball
- Ballet
- Pottery
- Swimming
- Computer/tablet classes
- Modern dancing
- Music - Be Sharp Beetles
Medication: No child may attend school if s/he has a contagious illness. All medication must be written in the class specific medicine book, and medicine placed in the container (not left in the child's bag)
Accidents: All necessary precautions possible are doine to secure your child's safety but the school cannot be held responsible for accidents that may occur at the school. Parents are still responsible for any necessay doctor's fees and medication. If a child is injured, the parents will be informed immediatey.
Additional requirements / responsibilities for parents:
- Babies - nappies, wet wipes and bum cream, which can be supplied on a daily or weekly basis.
- Milk formula and special dietary requirements, where applicable
- A sun hat and sunblock/crean for outside play
- A bag with at least one set of clean clothes and a warm jacket
